Field Day - December 2002Every year
the school has a Boys & Girls Agricultural Club (BGAC) and Community day. The
school has always put on a concert for the school children's parents and other
locals. The school's items are usually a play and some musical pieces. Pupils
(and sometimes parents) make vegetable sculptures and display their artwork for
judging. They also bring in their pets to be judged. Last year's photos are
here.

    Senior Class TrampThe Year
seven and eight students went on a tramp around Lake Rotoiti, staying for
one night at the head of the lake. They slept under tent flies and enjoyed
such activities as the Burma Trail, riding in a water-ski biscuit, swimming,
nature activities and spooky story telling.

While the older students were tramping, Year four to six students went
canoeing and used the flying Kiwi at the Rotoiti Lodge Outdoor Education
Centre. Pictures coming soon... Boat Building The Senior class learnt about designing and building a boat, and different
methods of propulsion. (Click on a picture to see a larger image)
